Ellen Grodjesk has served as Art Director for a Not-For Profit law enforcement agency, an Art Director for international corporation Powers Fasteners, and as a business owner with clients ranging from the PGA and the FBI Agents Association. She is currently employed at Rice University in their economic department. She holds degrees in both Graphic Design and Web Production.

Michael W. Michalak
Former United States Ambassador to Vietnam

Michael Walter Michalak is the former United States Ambassador to Vietnam. He currently serves as Senior Vice President for the US-ASEAN Business Council.


Maya Dang
President and Provost of Tan Tao University, Vietnam

Mme. Dang serves as Chair of the Vietnam-US Business Forum, Member of ESCAP Business Advisory Council, Member of ASEAN Business Advisory Council, and Member of World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on South-East Asia. She worked for the Vietnamese Government for 13 years before moving on to create her first own company in 1993: Tan Tao Group, grew into the leading Industrial Park & Infrastructure Developer in Vietnam.

Prof. Eugene H.Levy

Former Provost, Rice University, Houston, TX

Professor Levy's research — focused in areas of theoretical cosmic physics — is aimed at elucidating mechanisms and processes that underlie physical phenomena in planetary and astrophysical systems. His work has encompassed areas of planetary geophysics, magnetohydrodynamics, solar and space physics, and electrodynamics. He has investigated the generation and influences of magnetic fields in natural bodies, including the Earth, Sun, and planets; origin of the geomagnetic reversal; theory of cosmic rays; theory of physical processes associated with the formation of the solar system, stars and other planetary systems. He has also worked on the development of observational techniques for the discovery and study of other planetary systems.

Dr. Charles J. Henry
President of the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR)

Former Vice Provost and University Librarian at Rice University, Houston, TX
Dr. Henry served as publisher of Rice University Press, the nation's first all-digital university press; was chair of the advisory committee for the Information Resource Center at the International University of Bremen for many years, and was a member of the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS) Commission on Cyberinfrastructure in the Humanities and Social Sciences. He is currently  serves on the advisory board of Stanford University Libraries, and is also a board member of the National Institute for Technology in Liberal Education (NITLE) and of the Center for Research Libraries. He is a member of the Scientific Board of the Open Access Publishing in the European Network (OAPEN) project. In collaboration with NITLE, he is currently publisher of Anvil Academic Publishing, which focuses on new forms of scholarly research and expression.
